Humari Kazi & Sayali Satghare impress with all-rounder performances in MCA Women’s One Day Tournament’21

MCA Women’s Team “A” after being put to bat first posted a total of 165/8 in 45 overs. Opener Aachal Valanju scored 40 runs while Humaira Kazi at the middle order top scored with a very crucial innings of 52 runs off 62 balls. From the bowlers, medium pacer Sayali Satghare with 2/6 in 5 overs was the pick of the lot while Hurley Gala also chipped in with 2 wickets for 24 runs.

Chasing  166, MCA Women’s C team were all out for 146 runs but one player which stood out was all-rounder Sayali Satghare. Sayali coming at no.5 continued to play her natural game attacking the bowlers with confidence despite wickets tumbling from the other end. Sayali scored 73* off 62 balls smashing 9 fours and a six with a strike rate of 112.31. All-rounder, Humaira Kazi who first scored a brilliant half century was also the best bowler for Team “A” as she came up with amazing bowling figures of 4/16 in 9 overs with 2 maidens.

Result: MCA Women’s Team ‘A’ won by 19 runs
