Manoj and Rahul’s fiery fifties steers Reefit Gym Warriors to a win in the Skyline T20 Corporate League

Played at the Skyline Cricket Ground at Gurgaon in Haryana, Reefit Gym Warriors & Warriors Cricket Club took on each other for a crucial encounter where in WCC won the toss & elected to field first as the wicket seemed good to bowl first.

The decision to field first proved to be costly as the strong batting line up of Reefit Gym Warriors notched up a very competitive total of 219/5 in 20 overs.  Aggressive opener Manoj Bedi smashed a quickfire 40ball 69(11fours & 2sixes at a S.R of 172) which created the positive momentum right from the start while the middle order batsman also did a terrific job of scoring runs where in Hitesh scored 30, Rahul 56* & Ankit 28. Rahul smacked 56* off mere 28balls (7fours, 2 sixes) which further helped them to push their team total to 219 in 20 overs.

Chasing 220 at 11 runs per over is always a pressure situation and WCC succumbed to the pressure of chasing as they were all-out 101/11 in 13.3 overs. It was a really good bowling perfomance where in every bowler chipped in with a wicket or two. Reefit won the match by 118runs and opener Manoj Bedi was declared ‘man of the match’ for his match defining 69.
