Nourain scores an unbeaten 131 as Mahi C.C (Team B) thrash C.D International School by 336 runs in C.D Cup U-17

The league match of C.D Cup (Under 17) organised by Mahi and R.S Sports Management was played at the Mahi Sports Park Bhondsi , Gurugram. The 30 over game was played between Mahi Cricket Club (B team) and C.D International School. C.D school won the toss and decided to have a bowl first.

Put into bat, Mahi C.C got off to a brilliant start with opener Noorain scoring an unbeaten 131. Noorain’s knock came of just 88 balls as he thrashed the bowlers all around the park. The captain of the Mahi C.C, Sahil Rajput ,came into bat at number 4 and piled on the runs. Sahil scored a 55 balls 105 and formed a brilliant partnership with Noorain. At the end of 30 overs , Mahi C.C scored a formidable 362/2. Deepak took 2 wickets for C.D school but he was hit for 82 runs in just 5 overs !

Chasing 363 runs for the victory was an improbable task for C.D School but it soon turned out to be impossible. C.D International school were bowled out for just 33 runs ! No batsman for the C.D School got into double figures in what was a lacklustre batting display. The star with the ball for Mahi C.C was Kunal , as he took 3/9 .

Mahi C.C won by a mammoth 336 runs and Nourain was the Man of the Match for his unbeaten knock of 131.
