Pokhare and Randhawa Slam Tons As Chandrakant Pandit XI Get The Upper Hand

Chandrakant Pandit XI took the first innings lead against Chandrakant Pandit XI in the U-25 Shalini Bhalekar Tournament. Batting first Pandit XI hammered a whopping 472 in 130 overs. All-rounder Jayesh Pokhare scored an emphatic 145 and was the highest contributor. His quick fire innings helped his team to such a massive total. Omkar Ghule missed out on a deserving century by mere 3 runs as opener Bhupen Lalwani contributed 70. Leg Spinner Shashwad Jagpat claimed 3 wickets in the first innings. 

 Jahangir Pithawala XI were bowled out for 294 in the 82nd over of their innings. Vedant Murkar scored 83 while ace batsmen Japjeet Randhawa high scored with an incredible 113. Left arm spinner Rajesh Sardar took 5 wickets. 

Pandit XI declared the second innings at 129 losing 2 wickets. Lalwani scored 60 again in his second innings as Kaushal Valsangkar scored 55. The was drawn but Chandrakant Pandit took the 1st inning lead.
