Ramchandani’s 100 goes in vain as Anushakti Nagar CC clinch a win in the MCA Summer Vacation Shield’20
Anushakti Nagar Cricket Club after electing to bat first posted a very healthy total of
245/10 in 45 overs. Opener Ganesh Patil top scored with an aggressive knock of 77 runs in 82 balls (9 fours, 1 six) while Aseem Ghate (41) and Darshan Adarkar (48) also provided crucial contribution to their team’s total.
Diamond Star CC in reply could only muster up a total of 189 runs as most of the players apart from their opener failed to make much of an impact. Right handed opener Yash Ramchandani scored more than half of the team runs as he kept his calm with wickets tumbling from the other end. Yash scored 100 off 129 balls laced with 9 boundaries while he got out on the 39th over by Roger Macwan which perennially ended the hopes of Diamond CC chasing it down successfully.
Anushakti Nagar CC won the match by 56 runs while the match witnessed some impressive performances from both the teams.
