Repro Emerge Victorious Over Mumbai Police In Times

Mumbai Police had a torrid game against Repro in the Times Shield. Batting first, Mumbai Police were bolwed out for just 192 in the 48th over. Ruturaj Sane (59 off 68) and Yogesh Patil (52 off 32) played crucial innings for their team but unfortunately 192 wasn’t enough. Sumit Markarli produced a stellar spell of 5 for 49 in his 14 overs with 3 maidens. Alongside him, Yash Mahale claimed 5 wickets as well. In a partnership, they toppled Mumbai Police’s defenses. 

The Repro batsmen  had a dominating outing with the bat as they declared with 344 runs on board with 3 wickets in hand. Openers Harsh Salunke (37 off 38) and Dhruv Thakkar (34 off 54) gave a steady start to the innings. Kuldeep Gehi clobbered a quick fire 83 off just 54 balls as southpaw Aryan Patni contributed 63. Despite them, Vishwajit Jagdale pushed the target with his 116 ball 84.

Trailing by 152 and losing the first innings lead,  Mumbai fought for bragging rights but scored only 120-5 in their second innings as Yash Singh claimed 3 wickets.
