Ritesh Pallav picked up a 6 wicket haul against SPPL in Chanawala challengers T-40 trophy 2019-20
Chanawala challengers T-40 Trophy 2019-20: Subsea pro pvt. Ltd (SPPL) played against Datamatics global service ltd. (DGCL) on 7th December, 19 at Azad maidan. Toss won by DGSL, elected to bowl first.
The opening partnership for SPPL was decent and they put up 42 runs for the first wicket, after the 1st wicket partnership there were no solid partnerships in the middle to follow. Not being able to be comprehensive against a strong bowling line up, they were all out for a score of 134 runs in 34.4 over. For DGCL, Ritesh Palav Left Arm Orthodox spinner picked up 6 wickets under his belt. He crushed the upper and middle order.
Chasing a score of 135, the upper order didn’t perform well but middle order batsman Hemant Khanolkar steadied the ship with a sensible knock of 33 runs. At one stage they were 70-6 at 12.3 overs, the situation was tricky but lower order batters Rasik Naik and Abhishek Hatkar performed excellently and very dexterously finished of the chase in just 23 overs. Mohit Singh for SPPL picked up 2 wickets for 18 runs.
Ritesh Palav was awarded the Man of the match for his dominating bowling against SPPL.
Result – DGCL won by 4 wickets.
