Sammi Goraha – Founder and Head Coach of Mahesh Cricket Academy in Gurgaon

Sammi Goraha is one of the experienced campaigners in Gurgaon Cricket as he has been an active participant in not only organizing many tournaments on his cricket ground but also through his cricket academy. Coach Sammi boasts of an extensive work profile where in he has been coaching kids from 9 to U19 age group since more than 2 decades. Sammi began coaching at Gurgaon from the year 2000 and before that he also did coaching in Delhi. Coach Sammi was a professional cricketer himself and he has played till Club Level in Delhi.

Coach Sammi shared with Cricketgraph “I have played Division and Club level cricket in Delhi for many years during my childhood. Though I could not elevate further but I try and pass on my real time practical experience to my students. I teach what I have learned and it’s not something purely out of textbook and that is why we have been able to generate good cricketers from our academy. One of our students Poonish Mehta is currently playing Ranji Trophy  for Haryana while many are now in the pipeline to make it big.

Mahesh Cricket Academy in Gurgaon boasts of all modern facilities including Certified Cricket Coaches. The academy also has 3 Nets with  different types of wickets to ensure students get quality practice. The academy also has its own cricket ground to ensure practice matches and simulations for players. The ground also hosts a range of multi format tournaments in Gurgaon.
