Shivam Gupta scores a hundred & also takes a fifer in a 40 Over Match in Mumbai

Played at Katekar Maidan in Mumbai, it was a One Day Match of 40 overs per side where in Akash XI took on Kaif XI with Akash XI being put to bat first. Akash. XI made a team total of 333/3 in 40 overs courtesy a brilliant 167 run stand for the 2^nd wicket between Shivam Gupta and Aditya Pakerao. Shivam scored an impressive 123 runs off 80 balls laced with 20 boundaries and a six while Aditya retired hurt at 100 runs off 94 balls. Rajkumar who came at no.4 also scored an unbeaten half century smashing 56* off 48 balls.

Defending a total of 334, Kaif.XI were all out for 204 runs courtesy a match winning spell from all rounder Shivam Gupta. Shivam who already top scored with the bat in the match also returned with bowling figures of 5/27 in 7 overs as Akash.Eleven won the match by 129 runs. Shivam for his all-round show was declared ‘man of the match’
