Held at Bengal CC, Shivaji Park, Nerul Center and Chembur center clashed for a crucial encounter for the all important quarter finals of the tournament. Chembur center won the toss & elected to field first to restrict DY Patil to a low total.

Batting first, DY Patil were all out for 167/10 in 49 overs and Chembur’s decision to bowl first was quite spot on. Left-handed batsman Siddarth Mhatre (opener) was the highest scorer smashing a solid 35 off 83 balls while the rest of the batsman were not able to convert their 10’s and 20’s. Kabir Ahmed bowled a fantastic spell taking 4/16 in his 9 overs which included 3maidens followed by 2wtks for Sumedh Kamble.

In reply, DY Patil gave a strong comeback with the ball to cover their sloppy batting as they restricted Chereshwar Chembur Center to just 154 in 39.1 overs. Left-arm spinner Simant Dubey was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/29 followed by 2wkts each for Nitesh Shetty & Divyansh saxena.

DY Patil Nerul Center won the quarter finals by 13runs while they lost in the semis to Goregaon where in Simant had again picked up 3wkts. Cricketgraph congratulates DY Patil Nerul for putting up a brave fight while wishes Goregaon team luck for the finals.
