In the Times Shield Cricket Tournament, Nanavati and Mafatlal came to blows in an intense game of cricket as Nanavati won the game just by the skin of their teeth to say the least. The game witnessed numerous solo performances contributing towards the thriller. The toss was won by Mafatlal and they elected to bowl first.

Soon enough, the game was about to be turned completely upside down in the second innings as a thundering comeback by Mafatlal bowlers saw Nanavati bowled out for just 85. Parmar and Tripathi claimed 3 each as a cumulative bowling performance saw the Nanvati batsmen crumble.

The target was set at 175 for Mafatlal to chase. Siddhaant Aadhhathrao once again contributed 48 alongside Prasad Patil who chipped in 44.
