St.Mary’s win the Bombay Gymkhana Inter School T20 Tournament’20

Played under the famous floodlights at the iconic Bombay Gymkhana Ground, it was the ultimate finale between Dhirubhai Ambani International School and St.Mary’s where Ambani School winning the toss opted to bat first.

However, Dhirubhai Ambani School could only manage a total of 91 runs all out in 20 overs thanks to some brilliant death bowling by Raahib Fatehi who took 2 crucial wickets. Ambani’s star batsman Taher Kudrati who is also the highest run scorer in the tournament was cleaned by Mir Tawde for 13 runs. Kush and Aarav in the middle overs also came up with good economical spells.

For St.Mary’s chasing 91 looked like a mere formality as they sealed up the game in mere 14.3 overs winning the match by 7 wkts. Opener Aarav Rawte (17 runs) and Aran Giridhar (23 runs) made crucial contributions at the top creating a perfect stage for Raadnya Ape (28*) and Mir to finish of the game with ease.
