Substitute bowler Shubham Kharat makes a place for himself by bagging 6 wkts in the F Div Kanga League’19

The match between Navroz Cricket Club and Lord North Brook Cricket Club was played at Navroz C.C (Azad maidan) on 3rd November. Lord north brook cricket club won the toss and elected to field first.

In the first innings, Navroz Cricket Club’s right handed batsman Karan Suraiya scored a formidable knock of 48 runs batting at no.3 and laid a solid foundation for the upcoming for the team. With the solid inputs by middle and lower middle order the team declared at the total of 156 losing 5 wickets.

In response the batting scorecard of Lord North Brook Club had very little to boast of and the team was bowled out at mere 89 runs. Interestingly for Navroz Cricket Club, substitute slow left arm bowler Shubham Kharat bowled a super fiery spell of 6 for 24 and decimated the whole batting order of the opposition.

In the second innings, Navroz Cricket Club’s could only manage to score 23 runs losing 1 wicket before the day ended.

Result-Match ended in a draw.
