Updates of Air India T20 – Vijay Chinnamuthu’s unbelievable 5 for 13 routs GIC Sports Club in Air India T20 Cricket Tournament 2019

Captain Parag Patil’s stormy 58 off just 27 powered Ordinance Factory to a 101 runs big victory against GIC Sports Club in a second round match of the Air India T20 Tournament 2019, organized by Air India Sports Club (WR) and played at the Air India Cricket Ground, Mumbai on Tuesday.

After the toss, Ordinance Factory had made massive 196 for 6 in 20 overs. They faced little difficulty in negotiating the rival bowling attack but scored runs freely and they amassed a huge total, and they also produced a 93 run partnership for the first wicket. While, starting was bit difficult for the Future Group, as they lost 2 for just 33 runs. Opener Rugved More also batted very well, but made only 49 off 35 balls.

GIC’s Siddharth Kumar batted gutsily in scoring 35 runs but unfortunately received no support from the other batters. The GIC collapsed from 76 for 2 to 95 all out in pursuit of 197 in 20 overs.

Vijay Chinnamuthu of Ordinance Factory won the ‘Man-of-the-Match’ title. He claimed 5 for 13, consistently rushing batsmen with his deceptive pace. Parag Patil 2-5 in two overs was outstanding.

At the same day, Deepak Kumar’s solid 55 off 51 powered Western Railway Traffic to a 44 run victory against Times Shield Cricket in a round match of same tournament. Put in to bat first, Western Railway Traffic had made just 158 for 7 in 20 overs. Manoj was the best pick of the Times Shield. In reply, Times Shield were at 114 for all out by the start of 19th over. Western Railway Traffic won the match by 44 runs because of Hitesh Patil’s all-round performance. Hitesh Patil also won the ‘Man of the Match’ title.
