Bhavin Sanghavi’s solid 92 helps KSG Warriors defeat KSG Thunders in the KSG 40-40 tournament

It was the crucial semi-final match between two exciting teams who have played wonderfully well to reach the twilight stage of the tournament. Winning the toss, KSG Warriors won the toss and elected to field first as they have a solid batting line up in their arsenal.

KSG Thunders partially did a good job with the bat posting 220/12 in 40 overs. It was Saumil Vora at the top of the order scoring a crucial 83 and Mihir Parekh who scored a 28 ball blazing 57 which took their team total to a defendable one. Advait Chitalia(3/37) and Jwalant Dalal(4/54) were the pick of the bowlers for warriors. They broke partnerships time and again or else Thunders could have made even a bigger score than this.  Chasing 221, KSG Warriors whitewashed thunders in an astounding & comfortable victory by 8.2 overs and 7 wickets. It was their aggressive and solid opener Bhavin Sanghavi who did the business for Warriors.

Right handed Bhavin Sanghavi scored a magnificent 71 ball 92 & almost played till the end. Bhavin did good running between the wickets and also smashed boundaries whenever loose balls arrived. He smashed 13 glorious fours in his 71 ball stay at the crease. Kalpesh Vora also played a fine knock of 60* off 75 balls.

The Payyade Cricket Ground in Kandivali witnessed an entertaining semi-final & Bhavin Sanghavi was adjudged ‘man of the match’ for his 92. Looking at the form Bhavin is in, he will certainly be a player to look out for in the finals.
