Dinesh Iyer stars for Nomura against Cricket Addicts in Shiraz-e-Hind trophy match

Batting first, Cricket Addicts managed to put up a humble 130-7 in 20 overs against Nomura at John Bright ground, Mumbai during the Shiraz-e-Hind T20 match. Parag Kothari was at his very best when he scored a magnificent 61 off 42 cherries, smacking five boundaries and a six. Parag thrashed the Nomura bowlers all-round the park and enjoyed batting throughout his knock, before he was unfortunately run out by Rohit Ganguly. However there was not much damage done from other batsmen. Nomura bowled well, with four bowlers picking up one wicket apiece.

Riding on Dinesh Iyer’s heroics, Nomura achieved the target comfortably in 13.5 overs, keeping eight wickets in hand. Iyer scored a brilliant 67 off 46 balls and remained unbeaten to take his team through. He hit 12 boundaries and was s splendid spectacle indeed. Rohit Ganguly (22) and Aditya Bhatia (17*) chipped in as well. Yash Shah and Jay Mehta were among wickets, accounting for one wicket apiece.

Dinesh Iyer (67 not out off 46 balls) was declared as the Man of the Match for his match winning knock.
