27th LIC Kalpesh Govind Koli Memorial Cricket Tournament 2017 is always a breeding ground for the youngsters and aspiring cricketers and one of the finest platforms to display your cricketing talent. One such day belonged to this wonderful left arm spinner Aman Manihar & Manish yadav who impressed one and all with their bowling & batting alike.

Played at DPZ ground in Matunga, Bandra won the toss & elected to bat first but they could not make the most of it as they were all out for just 126/10 in the 1st innings. None of the batsman could fire & neither could anyone make any partnerships. Goregaon on the other hand made a decent 215/10 in 58.4 overs where right-handed Manish Yadav scored a fantastic century which was full of class & confidence. Manish smashed 12 fours & a six whereas pace bowler Gaurav Chavan bowled a fantastic spell of 6/40 which rattled the opposition. Unfortunately the pacer lacked support from the other end which made things a little difficult.

Made to bat in the 2nd Innings again, Bandra Centre again crumbled like a pack of cards as they were all-out for just 106 runs. Left-arm spinner Aman Manihar yielded magic with the ball as he bowled one of the finest spells of the tournament taking 7wkts for mere 15 runs in his 16 overs including a stunning 10 maidens which helped his team win the match outright.

Aman Manihar was declared ‘man of the match’ while Cricketgraph also appreciates Manish’s century & Gaurav’s 6wkt haul. Cricketgraph wishes luck to all the budding cricketers for a great tournament ahead.
