Pacer Manish Rao’s 4/24 & Vinit Daka’s 21ball 45 pushes Central Railways to a semi-final win in the RCF T20 Tournament

It was yet another crucial semi-finals on 14th march between Central Railways & Mumbai Customs at RCF Ground, Chembur. Mumbai Customs won the toss & elected to field first to restrict Central Railways to a low total.

Batting first Central Railways did a commendable job even though the openers were not able to give a solid start. No.3, 4 & 5 batsman did a fine job with the bat as all of them chipped in with 30’s and 40’s. While Amit & Harshad scored quick 30’s it was Vinit Daka at no.5 who changed the game with his batting onslaught. Vinit Daka scored a 21ball 45 which included 5fours and 2big sixes which pushed his team total to 173/6 in 20 overs. Jude Singh was expensive but the pick of the bowlers taking 2/38 in 4 overs.

Chasing 174, good bowling by Central Railways restricted Mumbai Customs to just 152/9 in 20 overs & Railways won the match by 22 runs. Right-handed paceman Manish Rao displayed a pure display of pace bowling & took important wickets at the right time. Manish came up with bowling figures of 4/24 in 3 overs which played a very crucial role in their victory.

Manish was adjudged ‘man of the match’ for his superb pace bowling & Cricketgraph wishes Manish and the whole team for their semi-final win. Cricketgraph also wishes them to go on & win the tournament in style.
