Prakash drives past HUL to help Pidilite win the Dreamz T20 match
Batting first, Pidilite posted a respectable 157-4 in 20 overs against Hindustan Unilever (HUL) on 23rd April in Mumbai during the Dreamz T20 Cricket Tournament. Opening bat Prakash was fantastic at the start of the innings, scoring 46 runs off 44 balls. He provided a solid start to his team’s batting. Coming in at no.4, Sujeet played a brisk knock of 46 runs coming in just 27 balls to help his team cross the 150-run mark. Alok, Rajesh, Ashwath and Mario picked up one wicket each.
In reply, HUL gave a tough fight but in the end fell short of mere 12 runs as they were tamed at 145-8 in 20 overs. Opening bat Sachin top scored with 34 runs off 33 balls, but his efforts went in vain as he failed to take his team home. Anthony, Bhavesh and Sunil bowled well together as a unit accounting for two wickets apiece.
Prakash (46 runs off 44 balls) was announced as the Man of the Match for his match-winning batting display.
