Played at Shivaji park on the Kamat Memorial pitch, the match witnessed some amazing display of talent right from Sharik bowling a wonderful spell to Shashwat & Arpita’s confident centuries. More than that it was good to see how promising this kids are looking to make it big in cricket in their coming days.

Vikas Krida Mandal (Virar) won the toss & elected to bat first with an aim of making a big score in the 1st innings. Their decision to bat first did reap rewards as they made a gigantic 1st innings score of 415/4 declare. Opener Arpita Dhadve scored a good looking 135 off just 110 balls laced with 15 boundaries. Coming at 1 down, right handed Shashwat Jhunjhunwala scored a mesmerizing double ton which was impressive to one and all. The little lad smashed 214 off just 174 balls where in smashed 21 fours & also did great running between the wickets. In fact he was playing so aggressive cricket he reached his hundred before lunch time. It was certainly a result of hard work which helped him notch a century. In fact it was because of Shashwat’s double hundred the team managed to post such a big total on the board.

Following on 415 runs, Krida Virar Mandal won the match outright by an innings as Municipal Ground Bhayender got all out for 106 & faced follow on to again get all out on 153. Right-arm off spinner Sharik Baloch bowled a tremendously impressive spell of 7/22 followed by 3/54 in the 2nd innings making his tally reach 10wkts in a match. Aman Tiwary was also impressive taking 5/34 to rattle the opposition.
