Shoaib Khan of Islam Gymkhana hits a big century; Sainath Sports Club holds on; the B division Kanga match ends in a draw
Batting first, Islam Gymkhana posted a handsome total of 263-5 against Sainath Sports Club on 11th September in Mumbai during the B division Kanga League match.
Shoaib Khan was spectacular with the bat as he played a marathon innings of 156. Khan was a treat to watch and was pivotal in his team’s success. Sanket Jadhav was the other batsman who contributed with a useful 58.
Sainath Sports Club, in the second innings, managed to put up 69-7. Danish Rainey and Salman Khan were the wreckers-in-chief picking up 3-10 and 3-22 respectively.
The match between Islam Gymkhana and Sainath Sports Club ended in a draw.
