It was a crucial encounter between two strong teams namely Rika Global & All india C.A premier league (AICPL) at the Elf Vengsarkar Academy in Oval. ICAI won the toss and elected to bat first even though it was a pitch which was providing good turn to the bowlers.

Batting first, the pitch showed its colors as AICPA were all-out for just 119/10 in 18.2 overs, Left arm pacer Vishnu gave the perfect start any team can ask for as he took 2wkts(clean-bowleds) in the very 1st over of the match.  The entire top & middle order failed to fire but it was their no.8 batsman who brought back some life into the innings as H Dave scored a quick 38 off just 26balls to take his team total to a little respectable one of 119. M Mansoori was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/20 in his 4overs followed by 2wkts each for Vishnu & Shubham.

Chasing 120 should not be a daunting task but AICPA(ICAI) gave a really tough fight to the opposition and did not allow them to win before taking their 7wkts. In fact Rika Global were not off to the best of the starts where they were struggling at one point at 20/3 until their southpaw batsman Yasin Salmani entered the crease and changed the script of the game. Yasin went on to score a fearless 65 off just 34balls smashing 8fours & 3 big sixes at a strike rate of almost 200. It was Yasin’s innings which pushed the team towards the victory line. From AICPA, AK bowled really well taking 4/15 in his 4overs but lacked support from the other end.

RIKA global won the match by 3wkts & 4.4 overs to spare & Yasin Salmani was declared ‘man of the match’ for his match winning 65. Cricketgraph congratulates Yasin & the whole team for their good win & also wishes them luck for their coming matches.
